Drama students took their learning out into the sun this week as they finished a read through of J.B. Priestly's "An Inspector Calls". They are going to see the play being performed at the Theatre Royal in the next session.

S3 presented keynotes today on someone who has inspired them.
Zander spoke on Nikki Lauda, Ruaraidh on Nikola Tesla, Toby on Henry Ford, Cameron on Jenson Button and Chloe on her mum.
All their presentations were very interesting and exceedingly well presented.
A reminder that everyone is welcome to celebrate a successful and happy year in Cedars School with us, at Funworld on Thursday night. The school will perform a variety of French themed items between 7 and 8, and then there will chance for soft play, laser tag, or coffee and cake- depending on your age!
Please note that pupils should arrive by 6.45, and should wear trip uniform/PE kit.
We had to do a drama paperwork afternoon this week so Courtney made a delicious sponge cake to help make the work go faster - YUM!
Senior pupils were discussing careers options and looking at a range of University prospectuses in PSD today:
Pupils studying N4/5 drama have each devised scripts based on a range of image / text stimuli. They have created characters, stage plans, props lists and costume ideas. Today was the first day of rehearsals and Sophie was directing the class through her script.
The National 5 Art expressive and design folios are now complete and they will be uplifted to SQA for external assessment on Wednesday. Well done to Kira, Aimee and Brett!
