Well done to all who worked hard to learn their lines over the holidays. S1/2 are learning Mandarin as part of our current topic on China. Here they are practising their conversations... Those who felt confident used the hat to hold a conversation between two people- by themselves! S1/2 have been enjoying reading Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. Today we came to the Pyramus and Thisbe play at the end, and it was too good not to have a go at acting it out ourselves. Here are cast in action, including wall, moonshine, and scary lion! S1/2 have been working on presentations, dramas and interactive activities to teach the rest of the class about key events this year. Robert, Ruaraidh and Ally taught us about the anniversary of World War One: Sophie and Isabelle taught us about the Winter Olympics: Toby, Steven and Zander told us all about the World Cup in Brazil this year: Fraser, Cameron and Aiden taught us about the Commonwealth Games: Pupils in BC were recording a song for the Easter service today.
