Pupils in Transitus and S1/2 took advantage of the nice weather last week to do some sketching outdoors.
Transitus joined with P4/5 for some of the afternoon. We used drama and storytelling to find out about European History from the French Revolution to the beginning of World War II! Today in BC, those who weren't skiing had a lovely walk along the Esplanade. We took photos of urban decay and industry. Thank you to all parents who attended the Paris information even last night. Not long to go! If you have any questions about the trip please do not hesitate to contact Miss Black at the school. Many thanks to Billy from CLIC Sargeht who visited us today and spoke to P4-S6 about the work of the children's cancer charity. Billy thanked the school for the £500 raised at our Spring concert. We are delighted to hear how CLIC Sargent will use the money to help provide home-from-home accommodation for children and their families using the new Southern General Hospital. Nathan and Luke have both been raising money for their Scout group. Nathan swam 70 lengths- well over a mile! And Luke took part in a cycle -a-thon.
