Our new team who will run the bank with Mrs Airth this year are being trained this morning:
S2 artists were finishing off some seaweed drawings before moving on to design covers for their sketchbooks. A quick recap of our learning from last lesson... S2 are writing diary entries, imagining they are French peasants in the 1770s. Thanks to everyone who supported our information evening on Monday night. It was a very successful and informative evening and a great opportunity to catch up. Transitus have taken time today to write a poem that will help them remember how to spell government. Ask them!! S1 are recapping our work from last week with some games of verbal tennis. They have remembered a lot! Transitus have had a great first two days experience of secondary, and, despite their surprise at having weekend homework, are enjoying the challenge of more work and harder work ! Well done handing in your homework today everyone- see you all on Monday. At the start of the afternoon, Mrs Speirs congratulated trophy winners and outlined what pupils need to do to win them. We are motivated for a hard working year. We also started the house completion for 2014-15 with bricks for all pupils who sat and passed exams. Please note that all pupils need to purchase a House badge from the School Office and wear it on their blazer.
