Thank you to Eesha for coming and talking to all of middle school about the preparations for her brothers wedding in September! Eesha showed us the three dresses she will wear over the three day celebration.
S1 have also been learning about photography. This afternoon they went out to take some photos before using Snapseed to edit them:
Transitus have been developing their photography skills over the last few lessons. They have been learning how to edit photos using an app called Snapseed. It is hard to see the images they are working on on their iPads, but everyone is enjoying it!
S1 have been studying cells. Today they looked at the parts of a plant and viewed pollen under the microscope.
S2/3 drama students paid a visit to a special exhibition of wedding dresses / evening gowns over the last 200 years at the McLean Museum. They each chose their favourite dress:
Nobody liked the olive green wedding dress!!!
Pupils in Transitus and S1/2 took advantage of the nice weather last week to do some sketching outdoors.
Transitus joined with P4/5 for some of the afternoon. We used drama and storytelling to find out about European History from the French Revolution to the beginning of World War II!
