S1/2 have been looking at the 'Seven Ages of Man' speech, from Shakespeare's play As You Like It, and today, we had fun acting out the various parts that people play in their lives. Can you see what the seven ages are?!
First of all, the mewling and puking infant.
Then the whining schoolboy creeping like a snail to school.
Then the sighing lover, with his ballads to his mistress' eyebrow.
Then the fearsome soldier, complete with gun sound effects.
Next, the round bellied justice.
Followed by the lean and slippered pantaloon.
And finally the very old man in his second childhood.
Well done to all who took part and who were such good sports!
