We have 2 pupils of the week! Sofia got her award for good writing and Sam got his for reading. Well done to both of you! Easter posters are finished and laminated and going home today. We are so pleased with the end results! Monday- formal uniform Tuesday- trip uniform for Funworld Wednesday- formal uniform and show+tell Thirsday- formal uniform. Easter service starts at 1pm in Struthers memorial church and children should be collected at the end of the service (approx 2pm) Friday- holiday School starts back at 9am on Monday 20th April. Today for language we were talking about the beginning, middle and end of stories. We cut out the different parts and stuck them beside the correct word then wrote the part of the story underneath. This afternoon we made easter baskets for our little pom pom chicks to travel home in. We decorated them and wrote "happy easter" on the handle before filling them with coloured paper, 3 eggs and 2 tiny chicks! This afternoon we were using tissue paper to collage an Easter egg shape. We then cut them out and stuck them onto card and they're going home today. Our pupil of the week is Catherine- this award is given for great news writing. We had a nice surprise at assembly when we found out that Thomas and Stewart had also got pupil of the week from their teachers. |
