This afternoon we put up a Christmas tree in our classroom.

We took turns decorating it with tinsel and bobbles which are blue, pink, silver and purple. We think it looks lovely!

Tonight we have a new set of words in our word times. We've looked at them a couple of times in class but in general children will be unfamiliar with the words so lots of support required tonight!

Thanks!

This afternoon we had a short French lesson. Pierre the puppet came all the way from Paris to read a story to us. He taught us how to say bonjour when we meet someone and au revoir when we leave. We got to shake his hand and try saying bonjour to Pierre!

In music Mrs Sutherland taught us a game called "coo wack wack". We had to hold the sheet tight and lift it up and down to make the frog jump on the top.

We are sticking to Tuesday and Friday for our gym days and NOT a Thursday as I had previously said. Largs sports centre can't accommodate us for gymnastics until after Christmas so we will change our days then.

Thanks!

This afternoon we were painting again- this time it was butterflies. We painted one side of the paper then folded it over so the paint would go onto the other side as well.

They look amazing! Well done p1!
