Primary 3s discussed why we thought the Vikings would leave their homes to travel to Britain. We also looked at a map of all the countries that the Vikings travelled too. We labelled our map and coloured it in.

A little reminder that Primary 3 will be going down to see the Viking Festival in Largs on Monday morning.

Yesterday we started our new Science topic called 'Growing Plants'. We talked about things that can grow and decided that things that are alive can grow. We talked about things that grow in our garden and also looked in our playground for plants and trees that grow. We drew pictures of these back in the classroom.

in our writing lesson today were were learning about Characters and Plot. The children brought in a number of lego figures and they had to use these characters to create a story. In small groups they were asked to share their ideas with the rest of the class. We had some fantastic ideas. Ask your child if they can remember their story.
