Our Nativity Play this year is about Christmas around the World. P1-3 are learning about in Africa.

This afternoon we learned an African dance and started to learn an African Christmas song. We then tried to put the two together!!!

Rainy Day Picture

This afternoon 2 were making a rainy day picture. We used cake cases and pipe cleaners to make umbrellas, cotton wool clouds were stuck on and we used cotton buds to paint dots for the rain.

Today P2 learned how to use a number line to help them workout addition calculations. They worked extremely well.

Primary 3 learned a new method to help them work out addition calculations. Theis method is called 'The Empty Number Line'. I will post a video soon to show you how to use this method.

Class Trip

Primary 2/3 will be visiting the Glasgow Science Centre on Friday 28th November. They will attend the 'Journey Through The Body' workshop and then visit the science mall. Pupils should wear trip uniform and bring a packed lunch. They may wish to bring some money for the shop.
