Pupil of the Week has been awarded for beautiful presentation and handwriting. Well done Alice and Emma. Remember to wear trip uniform and bring a packed lunch tomorrow for our trip to the Glasgow Science Centre. Money can be brought for the shop too. Primary 3s were learning about the benefits of eating fruit today. In pairs they had to user he Internet to find out some of reasons why fruit is so good for you. They them used Moodboard on the iPad to create a poster promoting the benefits of eating fruit. The children also tried a range of fruits just to check that they tasted good. 😄 Primary 2 have been learning some initial blends such as bl,pl,sw and tr.They have also been listening to and writing rhyming sounds. The children were working on place value and partitioning in maths today. We bundled lolly sticks together to make 10s. They children then had to make numbers using the lolly sticks. We looked at how numbers can be made up of Tens and Ones. To finish the lesson we played darts (magnetic!) to improve our adding skills. A little reminder that P2/3 are going to the Glasgow Science Centre on Friday 28th of November. Pupils should wear trip uniform and bring a packed lunch. They may wish to bring some money for the shop. |
