A little reminder about the Craft Fayre tomorrow in the school from 10-2. 🎄
the German markets in London and was able to show us all some photos of his time there. It looked amazing and it was great to see some of the things we had been talking about for our Christmas play.
We enjoyed having visitors with us from Iceland. We were able to tell them how we used our iPads, what apps we used from different curricular areas and we showed them our science moodboards and habitat puppet pals show.
We are enjoying our reading books this week. We are working on reading aloud - thinking about pace, volume and expression.
Mr Atkinson brought in some yummy fruit that he had been sharing with his class and let us have some too. We first had to tell him why fruit was good for us!
P4 were looking at the different sounds 'o' makes in words - sometimes 'o' as in dog, sometimes 'u' as in done, sometimes 'oo' as in move and sometimes 'o' as in cove. This took a lot of concentration but we began to understand it more. Super effort P4!
P5 were looking at 'igh'. They also began looking at adverbs and we talked again about homophones. What a clever class I have!
