We had a super trip today and learned such a lot about Glasgow. After lunch we went on a tram and heard about why in 1910 spitting was prohibited. We saw the buses and also the only car made entirely in Scotland. Do you know what it was called? We saw a model of Queen Elizabeth second and saw where she was built by looking out the window at the shipyard. Do you know where it was completed? Everyone enjoyed looking at the old fashioned street and it was really interesting to see the difference between the earlier and later trams. The underground was a big highlighted and it was good to hear how it worked initially and then how it worked. There was so much more that we found out and as always the trip to the shop was a real high point!
