Murder in the School

3/17/2016

The children had to work out which member of staff killed Mr Creighton in story writing this morning. The pupils had to gather evidence, take photos and piece together the clues to discover who the murderer was. There were unpaid bills, evidence of gambling, a stolen wallet, possible murder weapons, fingerprints and a dead body to consider.

Just who did kill Mr Creighton?

School Canteen Closure

3/10/2016

Dear Parents,

I am writing to let you know of a change with the school canteen arrangements. With effect from next Monday 14 March 2016 the school will no longer operate a canteen facility and children will be required to bring a packed lunch. There will, of course, continue to be a facility for children to eat their packed lunch.

The canteen has become financially unviable and as Mrs Parkinson is going to South Africa next week, the decision has been made to close the canteen as of next week.

We are very grateful to Mrs Parkinson for her service over many years.

I am sorry for the short notice, but trust that you will be able to accommodate this change . The canteen will operate as normal tomorrow and Friday.

Kind regards,

Alison Speirs
