Pupils can wear trip uniform on Friday and should remember to bring in their hard boiled egg for a bit of Easter fun. School closes at 3:10. We have been working on the days of the week and are now creating an interactive poster to share our learning with everyone. Hopefully they will be finished next week. The class had a heated debate on Sugar Tax today. The class were split into those who think that it is a good thing and those who think that it is bad. In groups they discussed their argument then debated it together. The children had to work out which member of staff killed Mr Creighton in story writing this morning. The pupils had to gather evidence, take photos and piece together the clues to discover who the murderer was. There were unpaid bills, evidence of gambling, a stolen wallet, possible murder weapons, fingerprints and a dead body to consider. Just who did kill Mr Creighton? Congratulations to Niamh for winning a silver, bronze and fifth place medals or a swimming competition in Cumberbauld at the weekend. Dear Parents,I am writing to let you know of a change with the school canteen arrangements. With effect from next Monday 14 March 2016 the school will no longer operate a canteen facility and children will be required to bring a packed lunch. There will, of course, continue to be a facility for children to eat their packed lunch. |
