S3 historians are learning more about essay structure today.

Mrs Speirs took the assembly today, and taught the school about personality types. She highlighted the importance of understanding, compassion and learning to get on with people who are different to us. Melissa was ironing stiffener onto the back of some of her fabric shapes to stop them fraying when cut out: Kerr completed his final design today in art. he added the finishing touches of a ruffled, melted record centre piece to his musical score embellishment before adding it to the finished headpiece: Kira was creating layers of ruffled fabric on the sewing machine to suggest a watery effect for her design:
S3 are examining the effects of the slave trade on Africa. They are focusing on deep thinking to improve the quality and depth of their written answers. To do this, they are working in silence and having a five minute break after half an hour. Here they are examining the world map to understand some of their work.
