Brett and Kira in S4 completed these artworks for their expressive unit:
S6 are proving their learning with a quick rest on the key points from their history lessons this week... They are doing very well! Ruaraidh and Cameron are putting the finishing touches to their reports on Child Labour in the factories in 19thC Britain. S2/3 dramatists were rehearsing and performing monologues in drama today. They were all very expressive! S6 are analysing the reasons for the Conservative Reform Act of 1867. They have come to the conclusion that the most important motive was for the party to gain a political advantage over the Whigs. Aimee in S4 was using her iPad to experiment with different arrangements and compositions for her next still life drawing: She had just completed this drawing of a piano using coloured pencils: S4 Artists have made a great start back and are straight into working on paintings and drawings for their expressive folios: Thanks to everyone who supported our information evening on Monday night. It was a very successful and informative evening and a great opportunity to catch up. |
