S3 historians were given statements that provoke discussion and debate. They had to choose a way of presenting a keynote on this- and did really well!

Aimee presented on 'history teaches us that man's desire for 'more' is his greatest asset- and his greatest flaw.'

Picture

Lyle presented on 'it is possible to study the history of any civilisation through the study of the stomach contents of its corpses. ' !!

Picture

Johnny presented on 'democracy and dictatorships both fail. Dictatorship is the lesser of two evils.'

Picture

Brett spoke on 'war is inevitable and necessary.'

As part of our Anti Bullying Week we had a Friendship Day today. At interval, secondary pupils took part in ice breaker games and had the chance to chat to pupils in other classes and groups. We had fun and even got the chance to buy one another cakes! A successful day!
