S2/3 drama students were learning about different drama techniques such as still image, thought tracking and the dramatic chorus.

A number of pupils and teachers were unable to travel to school today due to flooding. Please be aware that homework schedules may be slightly disrupted this week as a result.
Mrs Speirs welcomed the school back for the winter term, and addressed the school on the subject of the nature of religion.
S6 historians have written some superb essays this week. The class have been focusing on developing their counter argument and rebuttal- a difficult part of the essay writing process. As holiday homework they will write four essays, one on each of the topics we have covered this term.
Mrs Speirs gathered the school for an assembly, to announce the results of the Head boy and girl elections.
We are delighted to announce that Euan Clague and Melissa McNeal are this year's winners.
All candidates wrote excellent applications and are pupils that the school is exceedingly proud of.

Higher history have spent this week examining the reasons for the raft of social reforms passed by the Liberal government 1906-14. Today, they are working on essay plans together... They will write their essay over the weekend.
