Kyle has been working hard to get the testing of his hypothesis done before Christmas. If he gets good replicates he can move onto the next part of his investigation. We've had a super term of netball. Everyone has improved in skills and fitness... Here are the girls celebrating! Mrs Speirs addressed the Secondary school this afternoon. She commended the seniors on the good reports she has been recieving on their behavior and attitude towards one another. Mrs Speirs spoke on the importance of compassion and understanding. National 5 biology have been having some fun studying stem cells using EuroStemCell resources. Here they are playing a stem cell decision game and stem cell happy families. Kyle got started today on the practical work for his advanced higher project. He is investigating the enzyme dopa oxidase - as it's responsible for the formation of red hair Kyle thought it was a good enzyme to study. In S3, We took advantage of the beautiful crisp morning and went for a quick walk before settling down to our work on the Suffragettes and Suffragists. |
